About the role
You'll be one of three product designers, working alongside designers from Figma, Instagram, Messenger, Cruise, BuzzFeed, and Facebook, plus engineers from The Browser Company, Meta, Dropbox, Lyft, Muze, Honk, and Audiofile Engineering. You'll ship features that help artists connect with fans, collaborate with other artists, and create music directly inside [untitled].
What you design will be in the App Store the same week, used by real artists, and seen by their fans.
What you'll do
Design pixel-perfect features from concept to launch across iOS, macOS, web, and Android
Drive product quality across the app, from small UI polish to big structural rethinks
Prototype to set direction, guide implementation, and explore wild ideas
Run scrappy research with artists, often in our studio downstairs
Improve our design system, processes, and bar for craft
Work directly with Dan and José on strategy, roadmap, brand, and marketing
What we're looking for
4+ years designing consumer or prosumer products
Portfolio with strong interaction design, high craft, and original thinking
You can articulate why you made every decision in your portfolio. what you chose not to do is as interesting as what you shipped
Fluency in Figma, Origami, or AI prototyping tools
Curiosity about the product, the artists, and the long-term direction, not just the surface of the role
Comfort with ambiguity. this is a small team without a lot of process
Openness to critique. skill in giving it
Clear written and verbal communication
Bonus points
Experience designing music, audio, or editing tools
Experience at early stage startups or small teams
Background in brand, motion, or visual design
